The 2CAN is an Ethernet to CAN gateway designed to become the back bone of a modular control system. Imagine a control system that can use ANY processor, ANY platform with ANY tool suite, or run directly from a pc or laptop. The system could contain as many or as few GPIO modules as needed. Wireless connectivity would be as easy as purchasing an off the shelf wireless router or access point without the need for expensive hardware that requires FCC approval or long developement cycles. The 2CAN is the backbone of such a system. With the 2CAN users may connect Ethernet devices such as wireless routers and web cameras to CAN enabled devices like gyros, accelerometers, motor controllers or GPIO modules.
